The opportunity*
As a member of the Tech team, and under the guidance of the QA Manager, you’ll be working with a team of talented PMs and in direct collaboration with the Full stack Back-end and Mobile/Web engineers to ensure that we deliver the best experience to our customers.
You’ll manage all the test campaigns, raise defects , analyze the bugs tickets and work within an agile / scrum team to ensure we deliver a bug-free product that complies with technical specifications and business requirements.

Your missions: *
Own the Software Testing Life Cycle:

  • Review functional specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test suite and test cases.
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results on multi-devices and cross-platform.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate quality testing activities.

Collaborative and Analytical approach: *

  • Support and help improve the scope of the functional specification keeping User-oriented perspective.
  • Be part of a cross-functional team: collaborate with Frontend and Backend Engineers to build the necessary infrastructure for new features being developed.
  • Collaborates with the L2 support on bug fix verification and validation.

Data driven aptitude and keen to list/document improvements: *

  • Manage defect tracking and resolution processes so that a consistent, documented process is used and followed.
  • Access the priority and severity of tasks in hand.
  • Create and maintain Test KPIs to measure the quality of the product over time.

You are the ideal candidate if you have: *
Experience and hard skills:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in a Tech company.
  • Understanding of iOS, Android and web & browser development tools.
  • Working knowledge of Project management softwares (JIRA, Notion) and Test management tools (like Testrail).
  • Experience in API testing (Postman / Soap UI) and Database testing (using SQL / MongoDB).
  • Extensive experience in identifying and executing Non-regression test cases.
  • Understand and eager to demonstrate Test metrics.
  • Fluent in English. French or another Virtuo language is a plus.
